Static caravan build update

 

This photo shows the underside of the static chassis, which has now been ply lined and is awaiting a coat of fibreglass and fireproof resin.  The plywood was fixed to timber battens running lengthways along the chassis.

This plywood lining is the beginnings of the plywood box which will contain the chassis.  The box will then be filled with insulating spray foam to completely encapsulate the chassis.  The lifespan of the caravan will therefore be increased indefinitely, and the U-values achieved will be far better than anything done so far.
