Beautiful camping pods, handmade in Pembrokeshire, Wales.

38% of UK families in 2009 were planning their main holiday somewhere in the UK, but just 3 years later in 2012 this figure had risen to 70%.

Steve Mills, Director, BDRC Continental believes this heralds a new trend among holidaymakers.
“Families remain committed to taking a main holiday and one of the legacies of the
staycation...is the realisation that you don’t have to abandon holiday plans
completely in difficult times. And it’s not just about perceptions of saving money. Holidaying
in the UK has become a positive choice. Standards of service and accommodation are
undoubtedly improving and people are re-discovering what the UK has to offer.”

This is great news for the UK holiday industry but as ever our unpredictable weather has the ability to make or break a holiday.  A camping holiday is one of the cheaper options and can create some fantastic holiday memories, but nobody wants to spend their main holiday at the mercy of  a wet, muddy field.  This is why we believe that timber camping pods are the way forwards for affordable UK holidays.  Take a look at our camping pod photos to see just how comfortable they can be.

  1. Camping would be really nice in Pembrokeshire but I think staying at pembrokeshire holiday cottages would be the best.
