At Big Green Space we have just launched our first camping pod design. If you haven't already come across the idea, a camping pod is a bit like a tent but built out of timber. Camping pods have become part of the 'glamping' (glamorous camping) phenomenon, designed for families who want the camping experience without being at the mercy of the weather. British summers are becoming increasingly wet, and at the same time money to spend on holidays is increasingly scarce. The camping pod provides a solution to both problems, allowing families to get away on holiday in a less expensive way and enjoy a dry, warm base from which to explore their destination.
Handmade in Pembrokeshire, the Big Green Space camping pod is perfect for campsites wishing to be profitable throughout the year, instead of those few and far between sunny weeks which amount to the British summer.
